Café Elliott Avenue is located on the ground floor of the Yokohama Doll Museum, right across from Yamashita Park. True to its motto, "Beautiful Espresso from Seattle," it features hot and cold beverages from the Emerald City of the U.S. Pacific Northwest. Proprietors Junko Hata and Kengo Koshiishi learned the barista trade in Seattle, where Junko also won numerous awards for her latte art design. Junko and Kengo import high-quality beans from Espresso Vivace in Seattle, roasted by master David Schomer. The name of the café recalls the broad avenue in front of Elliott Bay, a seafront location as iconic as Yamashita Park.

Café Elliott Avenue stocks Steadfast: Saint Maur's 150 Years atop the Yokohama Bluff, as well as other books and magazines. Curl up with a hot drink and something to read!

The café is located at 18 Yamashita-cho, Naka-ku, Yokohama, close to Exit 4 of Motomachi-Chukagai Station. The phone number is 045-664-5757. Open daily except Mondays. See www.elliott.jp.
